Then Angels Came: One Body of Christ, One Voice

Then Angels Came: One Body of Christ, One Voice: John 17:22 - And the glory which You gave Me, I have given to them, that they may be one just as We are one; Acts 4:31,32 - And when they ...

One Body of Christ, One Voice

John 17:22 - And the glory which You gave Me, I have given to them, that they may be one just as We are one;

Acts 4:31,32 - And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul;.....

Jesus needs one voice from His body not a divided voice. The unifying factor of this is the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit comes when the Body submits to God to do His will in obedience.
So many in the body believe they cannot participate in the call to prayer. The busy Mom who is taking care of her small children to the Dad who puts in long hours on his job.

There are testimonies of some who do sabbaticals to monasteries to do their service in prayer to the binding of the demonic hordes in foreign lands. We get discouraged because of the realities of our lives leave us with responsibilities that cannot be denied. So we feel condemned by the deeds of others.

But be not discouraged! These are Jesus' words.... Be not discouraged. Each child within the body is precious as each voice of each in the body is necessary to be heard by our Heavenly Father.  He yearns to hear your voice. Prayers whispered, over a sink of dishes to a washing machine full of clothes to those sitting at a computer to those running a retail register to all forms of work and tasks that occupy our lives, are all precious to His ears and are just as important and viable as those who travel to out of the way places to be heard. Jesus dwells in your heart and hears each and every word uttered and knows your heart and the whys of what you do and think.

We hear a lot about the "generation" called to be better and do greater things that they feel their predecessors have failed to do. God is not a respecter of persons, that includes age. Wisdom does come with age because life happens with age. Trials come with age and the ability to hear and follow and overcome improves with age.
Honor your mother and father also comes to mean to respect the elders in the body. They have been places that you may never go...

"One in heart and one in soul" for the Body means to unify with all others in the Body. That goes way beyond your church group or even denomination. That also includes all that have gone before us. We serve a God of the living not the dead. We must enlarge our tents to see the bigger picture. The only possible way to fulfill the prayer that Jesus prayed in the garden is to submit fully to His Holy Spirit and be obedient in our lives to His voice.

The Body is His voice on earth. Let us come together, ALL of us in prayer and thanksgiving, giving Him the glory and worship due Him.   And be not discouraged! Listen for His whispers and follow. Jesus loves you. One day we will really understand how much.

Blessings this day! Be of good courage! Pray this day and then watch to see what happens!

Then Angels Came Prayer Ministry

Dan. 10:12 --Da 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that thou didst set thy heart to understand, and to humble thyself before thy God, thy words were heard: and I am come for thy words' sake.

The name "Then Angels Came" is a product of a revelation through prayer. There were certain things we were praying for that just didn't seem to manifest. Then the revelation came through a vision. I saw angels descending from heaven with packages and placing them at the feet of the intercessors. Then with quizzical looks they looked to each other as the intercessor continued to ask for what they had just brought.

We do not receive what we ask because we do not really believe we will get it. Jesus said our job is to believe.

John 6:29--Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. KJV

John 14:2 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father
John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John 14:4 If ye shall ask anything in my name, that will I do.

We are apart of the Body of Christ that is called to sit at His feet in prayer, worship and thanksgiving. We stand in the gap when there is need. Guided by His Holy Spirit we are called to intercede for the lost and His children alike. There is no age to this group. There is only disciplined obedience.
Let no one tell you that you cannot pray because of age or calling. The Body of Christ is called to prayer. Without it nothing is accomplished. Jesus is our example in all things. He rose early each morning and set Himself apart in prayer to His Father. He councils us to do the same. The powerlessness of the Body is a direct result of prayerlessness.

To begin prayer is to humble yourself before the Father and ask for the Holy Spirit to teach you to pray. Each of us is different and has that unique relationship and is guided individually by the Holy Spirit. He is our Teacher.

1Jo 2:27 And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you; concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him.

So my word to you today is begin to pray. Break the ice with your Heavenly Father and begin. He is waiting closer than you think.

If there is anything we can help you with, email us and we will put it to prayer and see what the Jesus has in mind.

May the blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ come to you this day.
